It is a polychrome wooden cross from the 13th century with ends finished in rectangles with softened edges. On the obverse you can see a relief border with tin plates decorated with vegetal scrolls. On this side of the cross there would be a carving of a crucified Christ that is not preserved. The sides are ornamented with checkered decoration. This cross stands out above all for having on the reverse the representation, on a blue background, of the Agnus Dei with cruciferous nimbus, carrying the cross and the standard of the resurrection. On the arms and at the ends you can see inscriptions that recall the prayers of the mass at the time of the Eucharist, as well as allusions to Christ’s victory over Evil and Death (serpent) and the double human nature ( Ram) and divine of the Lord (Lion).
