Description

Set of three tables from the Spanish Renaissance period, the originals of which are in the Museo Nacional de Artes Decorativas in Madrid.

This type of furniture was usually made of noble woods such as walnut and included highly elaborate decoration such as the Tuscan column-shaped or coil-turned legs, the carved drawers and the shield-shaped locks.
