A set of Iberian amphorae based on the classic typology of amphorae from the Iberian period in the Valencian Community (Spain).
Amphorae are large vessels characterized by their elongated shape, narrow or neckless neck, two side handles, and pointed or rounded bases. They were sometimes accompanied by a stand to ensure the stability of the contents. These vessels were used both in trade and transport, as well as in domestic use, serving as containers for food and liquids. They were also used as funerary urns for burials.
